“My fiance and I hired Mariah for our engagement photos after finding her work online and resonating with her effortless, non-cheesy, emotive photos. We also liked that Mariah shoots on both film and digital. We couldn't have been happier with our choice. From the get go, Mariah was professional, communicative, and easy to work with. Both before and on the day of the sheet, she was down to go with the flow and execute on our vision (and to recommend things to help fill in the many gaps--we have nowhere near the eye she does!). Engagement sessions can be awkward for couples not used to getting photographed (like us), but Mariah did such an excellent job of giving just-the-right amount of direction where we didn't have to come up with poses but it was still organic, and not at all imposing. We absolutely LOVED how our photos turned out. Mariah delivered SO many beautiful pictures, including a large number of film photographs that are timelessly beautiful.

She captured everything we wanted in a way that felt true-to-us; not too fussy or cheesy but still beautiful and romantic. Sadly, we're getting married on the East Coast--otherwise, we would've loved to have her at the wedding, too.
